They are responsible for creating and distributing surveys through email, website, and our concert events in order to gather information from TAMU students on how to enhance the quality of Town Hall's programs and image. AMP is constantly looking for new and creative ways to advertise Town Hall's name through stickers, slogans, and promotional items. |
Battle of the Bands Matt Tredinnick
This sub-com is a team who gives up their early Friday nights during the fall for the sake of the ROCK. The twelve lucky lads and lasses have the honor of putting together the Town Hall Battle of the Bands. Committee members are involved in picking bands, putting on preliminary concerts, and selecting the best of those said bands. The preliminary concerts will finally end in a culmination of Town Hall glory and goodness in the annual Battle of the Bands Finale. |
Coffeehouse Valery Owen
Coffeehouse provides an opportunity for musicians, comedians, poets and entertainers to show their stuff. The committee is responsible for all programming and musical aspects of these shows including Coffeehouse themes, finding and booking acts, running sound equipment, and all other aspects of the show (especially publicity). Coffeehouse's atmosphere strives to be casual yet focused by providing eclectic, innovative and rootsy music by songwriters and performers from jazz, folk, poetry, hip hop, jam bands and indie bands. |

An important aspect of MSC Town Hall is promotion and establishing business contacts within the Aggie community. It is Development’s responsibility to reach out and make contacts with companies, parents and former students to raise promotions and funds for Town Hall. Lunch Box Concerts Theodore McFail & Daniel Dominguez
In 1997 the committee began hosting weekly, outdoor concerts. These day shows became known as Lunch Box Concerts, a series that not only hosted established acts, but also encouraged amateur, student songwriters to perform. We are devoted to creating performances, that support the creative class and emerging artists, with what is happening now. |
MUSE Jennifer Taphorn
As one of MSC Town Hall's newest programs, MUSE is striving to combine music and education in an innovative way for Texas A&M students. MUSE is designed to educate students on various topics in music, including the process of creating music and the inner workings of today's music industry, through interactive workshops. MUSE will also focus on educating students about the history of music and the music industry so that they may gain a further understanding and appreciation for music. |

Student Training and Development is responsible for infecting the Town Hall committee with all sorts of love and fun during meetings, retreats, and other social events. We are the rock stars, we are the champions, and we are the glue that holds Town Hall together. |

World Music Lindsay Ochoa
The World Music subcommittee is responsible for providing diverse musical opportunities to the Texas A&M campus. We provide concerts including West African, Electronic, Hindustani, Latin, Japanese, Rock, Bluegrass, Folk, Pop, Celtic, and all other types of music. This is subcommittee is unique because we are not limited to any one kind of music for our concerts, but instead we are limited only by the variety of music we have not yet experienced. |
